We're having a boom in the indie musical scene, both in alternative and in more poppish indie. Personally, a band I love is the New Candys. They're from Venice, I know the guitar player and this is the first song of their most recent album As Medicine, which I truly love. They resemble a bit a fusion between the early Pink Floyd and the Who. I love that sound.

Here I have an Italian band (wow! Italians are so cool...) for you that I fancy at the moment. Especially their new album Lunar Love (2016) is amazing!

Yeah that was extremely sad. Never been a fan but I liked her attitude and her "independent" way to do things. That was a very sad day in the history of music.

Really incredible voice. I followed her for quite some time on youtube. Sadly she was shot by a fan a month ago
